Marge Carson Reinvents Shelter with Introduction of New Berkeley Sofa
HIGH POINT, N.C., April 24, 2009 --- Chaise in character and asserting a straightforward, architectural visual, Marge Carson’s new Berkeley Sofa adds a contemporary spin to the traditional shelter sofa. Traipsing the front edge and traversing the back, an exposed wood moulding detail clearly defines the set back front arm and its movement into the full-sized rear arm in this cozy piece amply accented with full, luxurious pillows. As exhibited, textures dance and play as graphic pillows rest against ‘Maltese Parchment’ ivory chenille. The presence of ivory and taupe velvet against the chocolate background creates a geometric mazelike pattern that is sure to engage the senses. Available in both left and right options, the Berkeley Sofa can be customized in any of Marge Carson’s 500 plush fabrics or leathers.
