Marge Carson Upholstery Introductions

Upholstery and Fabric Direction for Marge Carson

APRIL 2019, HIGH POINT, NC – This market, Marge Carson continues to “freshen our neutral upholstery palette by layering in soft colors that complement the wood finishes,” said Laurie Reed, creative director. The showroom color stories include a “dreamy, underwater feel” with muted pastels, lavender, cool blue and mint in sculptured and printed velvets with a touch of silver and reflective surfaces. Another setting will combine Mediterranean Sea Blue and vivid greens, with black in metallic yarns adding excitement. Many shades of green highlighted this market include chartreuse, moss, avocado, eucalyptus and forest, used as accents and layering throughout the upholstery line, along with the pastels and soft hues.
