About Dennis Teague
The Marge Carson Dallas Showroom opened in the summer of 2014 under the direction of Dennis Teague, who serves as both manager and designer of the Dallas Design Center showroom that exclusively carries Marge Carson luxury upholstery, bedroom, dining and living room furniture.
Dennis is proud to call himself a 7th Generation Texan. His family first came to the state in 1832. In addition to a love for Texas, a passion for furniture is also in Dennis' blood, as his father owned a furniture store, where Dennis learned the business as a young man. He started his furniture career in Dallas in 1980 at Gabbert's Furniture and Design Studio, where he worked for five years, followed by several years as a designer-salesperson at the Roche Bobois Dallas store.
In 1988, Dennis entered the high-end wholesale design industry, joining the California Pacific Showroom organization. In 1990, he joined McGannon Showrooms in Dallas where he worked for 22 years in sales, sales management and as a buyer. After working for the Dallas showroom of custom wallpaper firm Gracie for one year, Dennis joined luxury furniture brands Marge Carson in April 2014 to spearhead the launch of its company-owned showroom at 1025 North Stemmons Freeway, Suite 280 in the vibrant Dallas Design District, a center of art, culture, design and fine dining.
Over the years, Dennis has done a number of independent design projects including a multi-million dollar ranch in the Texas Hill Country and a historic estate in Austin.
Dennis is recognized for his skills in floor planning, his keen eye for fabrics and finishes and for a dedication to building relationships and the highest levels of personal and professional customer service.
